It was time to update three areas of the inn this winter.  While the photos are not professional photos, we think this will give you a sense of the new look.  The parlor has been completely refreshed, with new carpeting, paint and light fixtures.  While the former stenciling has been covered, we love the new burgundy and gold border, and especially the gleaming gold crown molding!

In the dining room, we have highlighted the green tiles surrounding the fireplace by painting the wall a coordinating green hue.  We also repainted the lavender portion of the walls.  Fortunately, we were able to find an “artist” to re-stencil the walls above the original plaster railing on the wall, using a silver and gold accent paint.

Last, but not least, The Rose Garden has been completely renovated.  In keeping with the theme, we have installed new wallpaper and borders with beautiful roses in both the bedroom and the bathroom.  New carpeting and curtains, new lamps, refreshed wicker furniture, and a new electric fireplace have completed the look in the bedroom.  The bathroom has been updated with new fixtures and lighting.
